He Support for Single Mothers is the name by which we popularly know the Support Program for the Well-being of Girls and Boys, Children of Working Mothers, an initiative of the Government of Mexico that provides bimonthly economic support to single mothers, single fathers and guardians who have minors in vulnerable situations under their care.
Created in 2019 and maintained under the administration of Mayor Claudia Sheinbaum, the program aims to ensure that childcare is not an obstacle for women to work, seek employment, or continue their studies. Gather your official ID, CURP, birth certificate of each minor, recent proof of address and the letters of non-affiliation to IMSS and ISSSTE (you can process them online).
- 2Locate the nearest Welfare module
Registration is done in a in person at the Welfare Secretariat's service centers. Consult the locator at gob.mx/bienestar to find the one closest to your home.
